Cobblestone is committed to discipling families. In recognition of the Biblical command for parents to disciple their children, we offer childcare and Kids' Ministry for children and their parents based on the ages of the children and the needs of the family. We are here to assist parents in their God-given role by providing resources, examples, and support for discipling their own children.

Parents can check children in before service in the West Wing for either of these programs.

Kids Ministry - for children four years of age through 5th grade. Children may attend Kids Ministry during service on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month, while volunteers serve on a rotating basis once a month. Once children are checked in and parents receive their child(rens) name and security tag, they will remain with parents in the sanctuary to attend worship together until the kids are dismissed. Children will be dismissed to Kids Ministry following worship and volunteers will be waiting for the children in the atrium to escort them to the kids' wing. The first (and fifth when applicable) Sunday of each month is a dedicated Family Worship service where families worship together in the sanctuary for the duration of the service.

Childcare - We know that raising littles can be an all-consuming job. To be of service to families with our youngest members, we offer childcare for children ages 0-4 during service every Sunday except the 5th Sunday months. Children are accepted in the nursery and toddler rooms upon check-in, and parents will receive their child(rens) name and security tag. Name tags are typically placed on the back of the child to ensure their tag remains attached to clothing.

The safety of our families is a priority at Cobblestone. To keep all children safe while sharing the love and word of God, we ensure all volunteers have passed a background check. The Welcome and Security team greets everyone at the check-in desk. To keep our Kids Ministry wing secure during ministry time, authorized adults and parents must have a security sticker that is printed by the volunteer at the check-in desk.  Children can only be released to adults who are listed in their household and have a security tag. All volunteers check for the provided security tags from all parents and authorized adults before the children are released.

A first aid kit is readily accessible at the welcome desk, and parents are notified of any injuries requiring more than a band-aid. All rooms are sanitized weekly.
